Pros: looks nice? Cons: resource hog; not bit version. Overall Review: all in all, it runs well. Pros: Very stable so far. Love the 3-D Flip. Compared to XP, much easier to burn data, music, and video to disk, better picture viewing and manipulation. Just more intuitive overall. XP on my second computer seems clunky now. No hardware recognition problems.
Cons: Still waiting for my 64 bit version to arrive. Able to use 32 bit meanwhile, but will have to reformat and start over once the 64 bit arrives. If Microsoft really wants to promote a shift toward 64 bit OS they should at least include it in the full price version. Minus 1 egg. Overall Review: Had to toss a good scanner, though not the fault of Microsoft.
Epson chose not to write a driver for Vista. Pros: It's a great OS. I like the new features and Vista runs very smoothly. I've also had no driver issue. The OS installs extremely easily and is very user friendly. Lots of security features built in prevent you from doing anything stupid, but they can also be disabled if you find them more of a nuisance.
Not a big deal at all, but it's important to make people aware of this issue. It's a no brainer. Especially if you want to play games and have a DX 10 capable card, this is the OS for you.
